It’s our favorite time of year. The leaves are changing colors, school is back in session, and there’s football on! What’s not to love about Fall?
Sundays for us are very much our family day. We make an effort to wake up and have breakfast together, go to church, and then come home and veg out in front of the television watching football. It’s my favorite day of the week. And you know we’re decked out supporting our Seattle Seahawks every week.
When I’m planning on having guests over I’ll usually plan out a more elaborate menu of delicious appetizers. But when it’s just us, I typically just do some quick and easy foods that my family loves. Not too planned out, but finger foods I know they love.
Here’s what we recently had…
We shop at Costco at least weekly. I might as well hand them our paycheck every time. So recently we spotted these NEW Beanitos Mac N Cheese Crunch chips, made 100% from beans. I was a little hesitant about them, but love that they are a healthier alternative to the other brand of chips you get at the grocery store. They are 100% baked, crisp and crunchy snack, with the explosive flavor of melted mac n’ cheese without the guilt. They’re also gluten-free and have 4 grams of protein per serving. Let’s just say they’re mom and kid approved!
My kids devoured these along with our other snacks. The meatballs I cooked in the pressure cooker with barbecue sauce and a jar of grape jelly. Apple nachos are simply sliced apples with drizzled peanut butter and chocolate chips, and a little frosting on mini ice cream sandwiches make a fun “football” treat.
You can pick up a 21 oz. bag of Beanitos Mac N Cheese Crunch chips at Costco in the NW region for a limited time, only while supplies last until the end of the month!
Enjoy your game day and let’s go Hawks!!
