I have a little confession to make. I’m so happy that January is almost over. Our family is getting ready for a big move next month, and I can not wait! In the mean time, little ole’ me is over here coming up with Valentine’s ideas for my older girls, for school.
This is a super-simple-easy-no-candy-the-kids-will-still-love treat.
Sadly, my oldest said, “Whatever mom, I don’t want to bring those.” Thanks goodness for my little preschooler, who says, “Yes! I’ll bring those to pretty school!” Yes, my friends she calls PRESCHOOL, PRETTY SCHOOL. I think I like that much better. Don’t you think?
Anyways, all you need to do is buy your favorite applesauce pouches from the grocery store. We’re a bunch of Tree Top Applesauce fans, plus you can usually find them at Costco which is great. Then, just print out these super fabulous Valentine’s Day labels I made (okay, they’re kinda plain, but I’ve learned that kids really do love simple too!), cut them out, hole punch each one, find some string/yarn/ribbon, attach the tags to the applesauce pouches and voila, you’re done.
You could probably even just wrap them around the pouches and use tape.
You guys. It’s SO EASY. Can I get a woot-woot for EASY?!
I’m all about simple, quick, less effort this year. Yes, even on this blog.
Leave me a comment below if you use these! Or better yet, come post a pic of yours on my Facebook page. That would be awesomesauce!! ;)
