I have three out of my four girls potty trained. Can I get a woohoo?!
That said, I STILL have to constantly remind them daily, common restroom etiquette. I don’t think there is a day that goes by without having to ask if they washed their hands, or even flushed. It drives me crazy!!
So I finally decided to make a simple and fun printable for the bathrooms.
Obviously, my younger two that are potty trained can’t read…but we talk about it every day, and so even just looking at the “bathroom rules” helps to remind them.
Let me tell you…something is better than nothing.
To make hand washing even easier, we started using an Aqueduck Faucet and Faucet Handle Extender. It’s great! It helps my two-year old turn the water on and off easily, and gets the water closer to her. Even with a stool she has a hard time reaching for it.
No more trying to stand on the counter or toilet, which is incredibly dangerous – which she of course learned the hard way.
You’re more than welcome to use my FREE Bathroom Rules Printable for your home. Make sure uncheck “fit to page” before you print. I printed mine as a 8 x 10 photo at Costco for just a couple of dollars. It did cut off the pretty green border, sadly. Still looks great though!
